As if bringing in one of the most sought after premium lines of sewing and embroidery machines isn't enough....there will be so much to do and lots of opportunities to win prizes for joining in our Grand Opening celebration.
WIN in our BSR Beauty competition. Try the Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR for short) on our 10 foot quilt frame. Each "contestant" in our beauty pageant will have an opportunity to fill a "square" on our whole cloth quilt. At the end of the day our Pirate Judges will take a vote and announce the winner of our BSR Beauty Pageant. If you win, you'll receive a prize from our Pirate's Treasure Chest.
Win with our Treasure Hunt. Pick-up a treasure map, follow the clues, find the answers to all 4 clues and enter to win a new Bernina Sewing Machine
Demonstrations
Along with our wonderfully talented Wayside Sewing staff we will be joined by Marthe Young. A quilt and fabric artist and embroider, Mathe is well known in the industry for her embroidery collections available from Bernina, and her fabulous hats and clothing patterns. She will be helping with the demonstrations. You will have a chance to get hands on experience on a dream Bernina. Demonstrations will be available all day long.
