Dear Jill, We
need your help! Come contribute, volunteer, cut, sew, iron, anything.
Wayside Sewing is happy to sponsor our first quiltathon
for Brigham & Womans hospital; and we'd like to thank Ellen Pawlik
for arranging this opportunity for us to give back to the community. We
hope you'll be able to come join in and help.
A Call to All Volunteers
Your time is valuable and
We value your time
Come sew with us and support
Brigham & Women's Neo-Natal
clinic
Join
Ellen Pawlik at Wayside Sewing on Sunday December 13th from 10:00-3:30
to work together and make an assortment of baby quilts for the Brigham
& Women's neo-natal prenatal care center. With hard times hitting
so close to home many organizations are finding that donations can no
longer meet the demand and this is true for Brigham & Women's
hospital in Boston. Ellen has been a regular donator to the hospital
for years but cannot keep up with the increasing demand for her quilts
so she is reaching out to you for help.
Bring any extra quilt squares you have, one square makes the perfect
center of a preemie quilt. If you have any batting scraps and fabric to
donate bring them too, we'll sew them together to make 26" preemie
quilts. Fabrics, threads, and most especially your time is needed to
make this a success.
Can't make it on the 13th, but still want to help? Then drop off a
complete quilt, your extra blocks, fabrics, thread, batting, anything
you want to contribute. Drop it in the collection box at Wayside
Sewing, in the classroom downstairs.
